Boston Focus Jam Observations

*** Fluidity

(with the sub-theme of disobedience)***

*** My body was disobedient and not very fluid. I noticed this, accepted it and allowed fluidity to seep in slowly.

*** The kids were a strong and positive dynamic in the room.

*** It was wonderful to witness and dance with the girls who were present (who were 5 and 11).

*** I got scared when (?) was having fun.

*** At first I thought I would be disobedient but my duet was controlling the whole chaotic atmosphere. We ended up sustaining a slow, fluid dance.

*** I took the fluidity theme as a gateway to be with myself.

*** I disobeyed my internal negative squishing voices.

*** I was aware of my habits – physical habits and ways of being. I
disobeyed them by trying something new. I felt freedom.

*** I felt like I could be doing anything.

*** Having the kids here loosened me into play.

*** The round robin was wonderfully focused.
